Cybersmart - Create Media

 Hi!

Sorry I haven't been active lately, I have been really busy and couldn't think of what to write!

Today I learnt about using / creating media to persuade someone to do it. Here is a slide show on what we were doing:

We talked about persuading a family member to come to our city, which is Auckland. I completed a post card and found a good image online that makes everything look good in Auckland. But some people just want to say the good things, they don't include the bad things such as weather, traffic and all sorts! If you include the bad / not so good things, it makes the persuading not very persuasive.

Cybersmart - What is Media?

 Hi guys today our class did a Cybersmart lesson with Phil from Ako Hiko - https://akohikolcs.blogspot.com/

Anyways, one of our tasks was to make a poster about social media and what it tells us. Here is my one:

Media is a type of way to:

- Tell people information

- Entertain

- Persuade

- Share some news

Things such as Youtube, Netflix, 1 News, TikTok and adverts, all those are counted as media as some of them entertain, some tell people information and some persuade such as ads and billboards with discounts.
