Origami At Home - Learning In Lockdown

Hi guys today I will be showing you what I made on Disconnected Friday!

I made this box using origami paper and it contains:

- An extra box

- 2 compartment boxes that you can take out

- A lid

- A big box

Here are some photos:

I used it to store some paper I cut out as I used it for my shape bingo.

It takes time because I messed up a bit but I got it second try. It wasn't that hard at all!

Next blog: Tutorial on how to make the box.

Bye bloggers!

  1. Kia ora Nicole,

Wow - nice job. I'm glad to hear that you will be giving a tutorial. Are you planning to do it by video, slides or instructions? I always find it easier if I can see it especially with origami.

I hope you have been enjoying your disconnected Friday.

Looking forward to the next post,
    Miss Laxa

  2. This is a great example of why I think Disconnect-Ed day is awesome! An opportunity to engage in some activities away from a screen and to give something creative a go. I find origami really challenging Nicole. I'll look forward to the tutorial. What would you give this out of 10 as a difficulty rating?
Great to see you including a picture in your blog - paints a thousand words! I also that using the bullet points/hyphens was an excellent way to set your blog post out.
    Ka pai.

    1. Hi Ms Harland. Thanks for commenting! I think I would give this a 4/10 difficulty rating because it looks hard, but isn't when you make it.
