Cybersmart - Create Media

 Hi!

Sorry I haven't been active lately, I have been really busy and couldn't think of what to write!

Today I learnt about using / creating media to persuade someone to do it. Here is a slide show on what we were doing:

We talked about persuading a family member to come to our city, which is Auckland. I completed a post card and found a good image online that makes everything look good in Auckland. But some people just want to say the good things, they don't include the bad things such as weather, traffic and all sorts! If you include the bad / not so good things, it makes the persuading not very persuasive.

Hope you learnt about creating and sharing media!

What did I just make with some towels...

 Hi guys.

I don't really know what I made with these "not-really-used" square cloths.

Here is a picture of it, it kinda looks funny because I couldn't shape it that well ;-;

Puppets?

No, looks like random cloth teddy bears.

Well... they do look cute to be honest :P

Anyways here is a tutorial on how to do it!

Roll the cloth both sides into the middle
Fold it in half, the rolled bit facing forward
Open the roll and use a tight rubber band to separate the head and body
Make the ears!

Decorate!

Hope you learnt how to make it!
Use it for birthday gifts, decor, small toys, all that!

Are you seeing what I'm seeing??

 Hi bloggers :)

Is that a ladder? or is it just a drawing??
It's... a drawing!
Here's how to make this cool illusion! ( Read till the end for some cool stuff :-) )

Step 1 - Fold paper in half and lightly draw a ladder shape, both sides equal length.
Step 2 - Draw the other ladder, making it slope down and having a corner effect
Step 3 - Vivid/Sharpie the corner ladder to make it look like it is real!
Step 4 - Start drawing the ladder lines, make sure they are straight!

Step 4 - Put it on a 90 degree angle or up against the wall and see the illusion!
OPTIONS - Use a ruler for straighter lines and use a pencil for the straight ladder

You read till the end! Here's a couple of edits I made :D
I use Capcut and Roblox to make these edits. If you wanna watch more, let me know in the comments, I can make any type of edit including Gacha life, Roblox, Stop Motion, all that!

Bye bloggers! Hope you enjoyed your time reading this blog!

Making Coloured Flowers!

 Hello bloggers!

I learnt how to make these pretty coloured flowers online! Here's how to make it:

1. Get some white flowers, doesn't matter what kind, as long as it has a green stem, not a stick stem. Get some food colouring, you choose the colours (I went with pink, yellow, red and blue)

2. Put a tiny bit of water, halfway a bit more.

3. Put your selected food colour and put a couple drops (I recommend 2-3 drops)

4. Put whatever flower you want to be coloured into the tube and put in a secure place where it won't fall (I used a small round vase)

5. Wait a couple hours, if its a long stem, let it soak for a longer time to get a better result.

Results!

I think it looks really pretty, the colours stand out and it's just like it was natural.

Hope you can try this at home too!

Math!

 Hi guys!

I love drawing, and one of our Math tasks was to draw a tessellation!

You all remember what a tessellation is, right?

Here is a blog about tessellations:

https://nwsnicolez.blogspot.com/2021/10/maths-learning-in-lockdown.html

So we had to make a tessellation based on a Pasifika Pattern, I did this one, it has 2 leaves in 1 square and it repeats:

This is one of my other patterns, called a Fish Tessellation:

I followed this video to make the fish tessellation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_q0N8T_y3c&t=1s

Try make a fish tessellation, it's fun!

My Friend Superpower - Reading Task

 Hello!

One of our tasks in Reading was to do a poster about what your superpower is as a friend. Here is my poster!

Even though you don't have that much friends, that doesn't mean you have no friends at all. There are many people around the world who want to be your friend. Being a good friend is a good thing, it helps with getting to know your friend better, becoming even closer friends, almost like best friends!

The picture says:

As a friend, my superpower is:
Kindness
Love
Trust
Hope
Faith
Friendship
Caring

All of these mean something good. I thought about this:

Kindness - Treating other people nicely and helping them out
Love - Friends are just like family!
Trust - If there is no trust, how is there a good relationship?
Hope - Always believe in yourself, your friends are there to support you!
Faith - Support others when they go through a hard time
Friendship - Good friend means better friendship!
Caring  Always care for others, Give them everything they need and help them with everything you have!

Hope you understood what a good friend means!
What are your friend superpowers? Let me know in the comments!

Writing Recounts

Hi guys!

How's your day?

This is the recount I have written for my writing task:

In the weekends I stayed at home. It was my friend’s birthday and I made tons of Roblox edits to send to her.

She was really happy and we played together all morning on the video game we payed since we were little.

The game was Roblox, and we realised it shut down for a couple of days due to a new update that caused the game to crash.

There were millions of players around the world playing Roblox, they complained about not being able to:

  • Connect properly

  • Join server games

We were kind of stressing out and we had nothing to play so we decided to do Gacha Life and Gacha Club.

I had both of the games downloaded onto my device so we did theme picking and dressing up our oc’s (original characters).

We did a blue theme, cotton candy theme and a nature theme. It was really fun getting to play with her on her birthday!

I had class after that. It was Chinese class and Math class.

I learnt how to do pie chart angles and scatter plots with big and small numbers.

It was really fun. We even did Kahoots and challenging games. I love the weekends!

Hope you like my blog!
