I love drawing, and one of our Math tasks was to draw a tessellation!
You all remember what a tessellation is, right?

So we had to make a tessellation based on a Pasifika Pattern, I did this one, it has 2 leaves in 1 square and it repeats:
This is one of my other patterns, called a Fish Tessellation:
I followed this video to make the fish tessellation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_q0N8T_y3c&t=1s

Hi Nicole, I haven't tried making the fish tessellation yet but it looks fun! I think it's going to be one of my activities today. Goodbye!

DeleteKia Ora Nicole. I love your enthusiasm for doing the tessellation tasks. I really like the way the Pasifika pattern rotates. With the choice of black and white, you've made it look like it's 3D. Thanks for sharing your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ms Tannahill!
